Registration and participation

Registration is binding and can be made via the website. Missed lessons can be made up in parallel courses, if available.

Cancellation before the start of the course

Course fees paid can be refunded up to 14 days before the start of the course. After that Lindy Harbour will charge 100% of the course costs.

Cancellation after the start of the course

Lindy Harbour will charge 100% of the course costs for the course period, unless a replacement is provided or a medical certificate is presented.

Late entry

It is possible to join an ongoing course after consultation with the Lindy Harbour team. In this case, only the costs of the remaining lessons will be charged.

Automatic registration for follow-up course

We want to minimise your and our administrative workload. If you decide to take part in a regular weekly course, you do not have to register again for the following course period. 

• You are automatically enrolled for the subsequent courses. Before the course resumes, we will remind you via the booking tool and by e-mail about your automatic enrolment of your continuing class.

• - If you do not wish to continue the course, you can cancel your registration up to 14 days before the course starts via the Lindy Harbour booking app (https://app.lindyharbour.ch/de).

• Cancellation is no longer possible from the 13th day before the start of the course. 

• The automatic enrolment does not apply to workshops.

• For workshops with external instructors, no cancellations will be accepted from 4 weeks before the event. However, the participant may pass on their ticket.

Payment

Dance courses or dance events must be paid 48 hours after booking via the booking app. Payment by instalments or other special payment methods are possible by prior arrangement.

Absences

Absences (holidays etc.) from individual lessons are the responsibility of the course participants and have no influence on the course costs. You can catch up your missed class on a different day.

Illness and accident

Course fees will be refunded in full in the event of illness or accident upon presentation of a medical certificate.

Discounts

The 20% discount on courses applies to students and all those in financially difficult or strained situations. Students must upload their valid student ID using the upload function in the booking tool. People who need a discount should briefly describe their situation by e-mail.

Liability

• Dance course or dance event participants are personally liable for lost or abandoned clothing, valuables or other personal items.

• Liability for accidents or damage caused in connection with attending a dance course or dance event is also excluded.

• By accepting the General Terms and Conditions, the participant confirms that he or she has adequate insurance cover against the consequences of accidents and illnesses.

 

Data protection

Data protection is guaranteed. The guidelines of the current EU Data Protection Act apply.

Applicable law and place of jurisdiction Applicable law is the Swiss Code of Obligations. The place of jurisdiction for disputes arising from this contractual relationship is the city of Basel.
