LINDY HOP
Lindy Hop is an improvisational partner dance that emphasizes teamwork and the connection between dancers. Lively triple steps lend it lightness and playfulness. When the music speeds up, we seamlessly transition into energetic kick steps – and suddenly you're dancing the Charleston as. On your dance journey, you'll discover and combine both styles to create your own unique expression.
BLUES
Blues isn't about spectacular figures, but rather about what develops between the dancers: a delicate, sensitive connection. The slow rhythms and closeness make this dance a particularly intense experience.
Its roots go back to the African-American communities of the 1920s, where people danced to blues music at rent parties in New York. Today, blues dance is a space where you can feel the music, let go, and experience closeness in a unique way.
SOLo CHARlESTON & SOLo JAZZ
Solo Jazz and Solo Charleston are partnerless dances performed to swing music. Whether you're dancing a choreography or improvising, it's creative, playful, and fun. We'll quickly teach you how to stand out at any party!
